In celebration of our new Almond Protein with Super Greens, we wanted to share some great way to use it beyond your typical post-workout shake. Like our other protein powders, the super-fine texture makes it really easy to blend into your favorite drinks and snacks. And while it’s packed with nine supergreens, its color is very subtle, so don’t worry about it affecting your treat’s appearance.
Here are five creative uses for protein powder that might just blow your mind.
Whisk into Pancake Batter
Give your favorite pancake recipe a boost of flavor and protein by adding a tablespoon or two of our almond protein powder to the batter. Leave out any added vanilla extract and instead use it to give your pancakes a pleasant berry-vanilla taste. We love mixing in a handful of fresh blueberries or blackberries into the batter too for an extra dose of vitamins and antioxidants to start the day.
Shake into Iced Green Tea
We love adding this lightly sweet almond protein powder to iced tea lattes because it gives the drink a silky texture without using milk. Simply combine chilled tea, ice, and our almond protein powder into a cocktail shaker, then pour into a glass for a refreshing and satisfying beverage. We like mixing it into matcha for a vibrant green latte, or for something more fruity, we shake it into our favorite blended green tea.
Blend into a Smoothie Bowl
Adding a tablespoon or two of our almond protein powder into a healthy smoothie bowl can help keep you full until your next meal. In addition to adding a quality source of protein—something most smoothie bowls are missing—you’ll be adding a bunch of greens, like wheat grass, barley grass, alfalfa, broccoli, spirulina, blue green algae, and ashwagandha, that you might not normally have on hand.
Make Vegan Chocolate Pudding
One of our favorite guilt-free ways to satisfy our chocolate carvings is to make a creamy dairy-free pudding. Just add coconut cream, cocoa powder, a pouch of Noosh Almond Protein Powder, and two large avocados into a food processor and blend until smooth. It comes together so fast and it’s full of healthy fat and protein. Top with fresh fruit and enjoy!
Mix into Berry Cobbler
While mixing up the crumbly topping for a berry cobbler, we like to add some of our almond protein powder. Whisk a pouch into the dry ingredients and use a little less sugar than you normally would. Another plus: Don’t worry about adding vanilla extract. The berry-vanilla flavor makes the topping really tasty.
