Airlines have really stepped up their in-flight snacks recently, but I must say, all of them are significantly better with a drizzle of creamy Noosh Chocolate Almond Butter.
I’m a food writer and I travel often to visit the best restaurants around the country. While I’m sure that sounds incredibly glamorous, it also involves eating a lot of lackluster meals in airports and aboard cross-country flights. From city to city, each dining experience—at least after I make it past the security check point—feels like a Food Network edition of Russian roulette.
A few years ago, I wised up and learned to pack my own healthy snacks. It’s a habit that has taken a bit of trial and error. Almond butter is an obvious choice for long distance flights because it’s rich and satisfying. The hefty dose of protein and antioxidants makes me feel amazing by the time my plane has landed. But schlepping around a jar for the duration of my trip isn’t exactly ideal.
A colleague introduced to me Noosh’s convenient single-serve pouches, and ever since I’ve been smitten. Just as my shiny Pink Lady apple is perfectly contained, so is my packet of smooth almond butter. And better still, when I’ve finished my snack, I don’t have to carry my little container around with me.
It comes in handy especially when I travel only with carry-on luggage. Even if I grab a handful, the twee ½ oz pouches certainly don’t raise any red flags through the TSA security checkpoint. And you better believe when the flight attendant passes out pretzels, I’m the envy of all my neighbors when I drizzle each golden knot with my silky Chocolate Almond Butter. It pays to plan ahead, especially when you’re at 31,000 feet.
These guys are a lifesaver in the mornings too because after arriving late, the last thing I want to do is hop in a rental car to find breakfast. In the time it takes me to brew a cup of tea in my hotel room tea, I can get a tablespoon of wholesome almond butter into my system and feel ready to hit my first destination with a clear head.
Noosh Almond Butter is the perfect travel snack and I couldn’t imagine leaving home without it.
