What does the name Noosh mean?
Noosh is an Armenian word meaning “almond.” In some languages Noosh means "sweet, lovely, and attractive." We like our own definition of Noosh that simply means, “Delicious, healthy almond butter for families."

How should I store Noosh Almond Butter?
Noosh Almond Butter is shelf stable when unopened. However, in order to extend product freshness, refrigeration of Noosh is recommended. Refrigerate after opening.
Why is there less oil separation with Noosh?
All almond butters have some level of oil separation. However, our competitors' almond butters have as much as 30% oil separation. Our proprietary process means there’s only single-digit oil separation in all Noosh Almond Butters. However, knead and squeeze thoroughly as normal settling occurs.
What is the shelf life of Noosh Almond Butters?
Noosh has a shelf life of nine months when sealed on the shelf from the date of manufacture. Once opened, we recommend storing in the refrigerator and consuming within six months.
What are the nutritional facts and ingredients of Noosh Almond Butter
Are Noosh Almond Butters peanut-free?
Noosh Almond Butters do not contain peanuts and are made in our own facility that is peanut-free.
Are almonds used in Noosh pasteurized?
Yes they are. Noosh only uses premium, whole California-grown almonds. In fact, all almonds produced in California and sold in the United States are required to be pasteurized prior to sale. Our almonds are pasteurized only with steam and without the use of any chemicals.
Why is Noosh healthier than most almond butters?
We used only premium, whole California-grown almonds. All Noosh nut butters have DHA Omega-3 and oat bran added for nutritional benefits. Noosh contains NO palm oil.
Does Noosh contain palm oil?
Absolutely not. Palm oil, also known as palm fruit oil, is used in our competitors’ almond butter and other nut butters as a stabilizer to prevent the oil from separating and settling at the top of the jar.
What effect does palm oil production have on the environment?
There are several ethical issues regarding palm oil’s production effect on the environment, wildlife, and communities. With increasing production demands for palm oil, deforestation of land in Southest Asia, Indonesia, and Malaysia used for palm oil production has had reduced forests about half of what they were 30 years ago. The destruction of native landscapes causes changes in the ecosystem and threatens the health of diversity of wildlife.

Our unique, almond-shaped 8-oz squeezable packs make squeezing Noosh Almond Butter easy as an ingredient in smoothies, baking, on toast, in sandwiches, or as a topper on your favorite dessert.
